NATO Order of Battle
The following Order of Battle lists the forces within each of NATO's three major regional commands that are readily available for combat duty. This is not the complete list of NATO forces, just those that can be depended upon to participate in military operations on relatively short notice. (Over time, assuming agreements can be reached, each country would contribute more of its total armed forces toward resolving the conflict.) All units listed below may be swapped or reassigned to different regional commands at any time by their home country, without warning.
Certain divisions and brigades have been designated as ARRC units (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps), which means they are specially trained and capable of deploying more quickly than other available units of a similar size. There are also even smaller, battalion-sized rapid reaction units available within each command for even faster deployment, though these units will not have the logistics support for more than a few days of combat and must therefore be relieved quickly.
