SITUATION:

Two (2) US Armored Cav troops must penetrate platoon sized flank
screening elements of an OPFOR Motorized Rifle Division and clear it from a town.

MISSIONS:

US - Rapidly penetrate OPFOR screen. Clear town in center of Map* from
all OPFOR units AND exit optimally 65 percent of original force across eastern edge of the map
in optimally 20 minutes.

OPFOR - Delay US penetration. Hold town AND prevent exit of
significant enemy force across eastern edge of the map.

RULES AND SCORES:

Since this scenario is played play and re-play parallel (both opponents
play US and OPFOR in two games), only US score is evaluated.

- Exit time of all motorized (still) mobile US units is relevant score
evaluation time, exit percentage will be evaluated then

- Mission (clearing town) completed is 100 basis points.

- Any time shorter than 20 minutes needed for mission completion and
exit of AL motorized (still) mobile US units adds 5 points to basis
points per minute below 20 minutes.

- Any time longer than 20 minutes needed for mission completion and
exit of all motorized (still) mobile US units subtracts 5 points from
basis points per minute over 20 minutes.

- Any exit rate higher than 65% after mission completion adds 2 points
to base points per percent over 65%

- Any exit rate lower than 65% after mission completion subtracts 2
points to base points per percent below 65%

Example: US completes mission and exits 70% after 17 minutes
=>100 + 3 x 5 (for 3 minutes bewlow 20) + 5 x 2 (for 5% over 65% exit)
= 100+15+10 = 125 points.

The scenario can be played against the AI for training if you open Team
Hall and modify it

Ammendments:

- town must be cleared but is *not* required to be held by US for mission
completion
- OOB: M1A1 tanks are not supplied by the game engine, use M1A2
- OOB: OPFOR OOB is as stated: 3*BTR, 3*AT4. Setup instruction will include
a hint that OPFOR will have to delete 1 BTR 80 after using the
"Add Optional Units" menu.
- *No* supply, *no* air

- US does not score negative points. In case the score calculation produces
negative points, US score is ZERO points.
